Baru-baru ini, Indonesia Ceramic Association (Asaki) asked the government to immediately release a policy to strengthen and protect the country’s ceramic industry, especially with regard to imported ceramics.
According to data compiled by Asaki, January 2020 – August imports of Indonesian ceramic products fell only 7% tahun ke tahun, from $ 173 million to $ 159 juta. The association also asked the country’s Ministry of Industry to tighten the submission of Indonesian SNI import certifications and proposed minimum import price regulations made for products from Vietnam, the Philippines, India and Vietnam.
