15.9%, Geberit Achieves Highest Sales Growth Since Launch
Geberit recently announced its revenues for 2021. It achieved the strongest sales growth since its IPO in 1999. This is despite considerable challenges in the supply chain, due to positive base effects and a renovation boom from the rebound of the epidemic blockade, as well as a real estate pull. Among these core markets, Italy grew 25.4%; Austria and Germany 19.9% i 11.9%, respectivament; Benelux 14.0%; Switzerland 7.5%; Eastern Europe 25.4%; the Iberian Peninsula 25.1%, França 14.9% and UK/Ireland 13.0%; and Northern Europe 7.9%. Outside of Europe, Far East/Pacific 28.8%; the Middle East/Africa 25.7%; and the U.S. 5.1%.
By category, concealed flush systems grew 18 per cent, plumbing systems grew 15.3 per cent, and sanitaryware grew 10.4 per cent.
