Roca Group subsidiary acquires Romanian hardware company: 11 million euros
Romanian building materials holding ROCA Industry, a subsidiary of Roca Group, said on Monday it had acquired local wire products maker Dial for more than 11 million euros ($10.73 million).
The deal could add as much as 3 million euros, depending on certain performance indicators, ROCA Industry said in a press release.
Earlier this month, ROCA Industry announced the merger by absorbing subsidiaries Sarcom and Colorock13.
Dial was established in 1994 in Harsova in Eastern Romania and produces 15,000 tons of wire per year. En 2021, the company will have a net profit of 1.71 million euros ($1.67 million) and employ 75 persoas, according to the country’s finance ministry.
ROCA Industry, part of the Roca Group, was established in December 2021 and had a turnover of EUR 41 million in the first half of the year. En 2022, the company expects a total investment of 40 million euros.
