On Aug. 1, Moen Bathroom parent company FBHS Group (Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc. NYSE:FBHS) announced that it has acquired a leading British shower products manufacturer, Aqualisa Holdings Ltd.
The company said the group completed the acquisition on July 29 for approximately $160 million.
The Aqualisa brand is a great addition to the Moen smart showerheads,” said Nicholas Fink, CEO of FBHS Group Brands, “Aqualisa is known for its high quality, innovative, smart shower systems. With the acquisition of Aqualisa, the FBHS Group’s bathroom offerings will be expanded to include smart shower products, driving further business growth, the company said.
Aqualisa Holdings (International) Ltd. was founded in 1976 as a British shower product designer and manufacturer. The company mainly manufactures and markets showerheads and other products under the Aqualisa brand. It is headquartered in Westerham, Reino Unido, and employs approximately 260 persoas.
