15.9%, Geberit Achieves Highest Sales Growth Since Launch
Geberit recently announced its revenues for 2021. It achieved the strongest sales growth since its IPO in 1999. This is despite considerable challenges in the supply chain, due to positive base effects and a renovation boom from the rebound of the epidemic blockade, as well as a real estate pull. Compared to 2020, it posted a 15.9% increase in net sales to CHF 3.46 billion ($24.15 billion). Compared to 2019, the increase was 16.7%. The EBITDA margin for 2021 is expected to be approximately 31%.
Net sales in the fourth quarter amounted to CHF 773 million, up 6.7 percent from the previous quarter and 6.7 percent year-on-year. The growth was driven by a pull effect from price increases. Compared with the fourth quarter of 2019, net sales increased by 14.1%.
